Welcome Pilots

I’m Tyler Flagg, a former special operations pilot and the founder of Flying Company. I built this platform after spending years in cockpits and operations rooms where finding the right pilot—or being recognized as one—was often harder than it should have been.

Flying Company was designed to be efficient, and it is. But efficiency alone isn’t the point. The real goal is to help you showcase the Whole Pilot: not just your hours or type ratings, but your professionalism, judgment, training, experience, and how you show up as a crewmember. This platform gives you a way to put your best foot forward in a standardized, credible way.

We’re also here to protect pilots. Flying Company ensures the right information is shared automatically, that expectations are clear, that you’re paid fully and promptly through Stripe, and that you’re able to participate in and support an operator’s safety program—without unnecessary friction.

This is very much a work in progress. Many of the best ideas we’ve built didn’t come from a whiteboard—they came from pilots using the platform and telling us what would make their jobs easier or safer. If you have ideas, feedback, or frustrations, we want to hear them. This platform is being built with you, not just for you.
