We’re excited to share that Flying Company has been selected to join the Forum Ventures accelerator program, a major step forward in our mission to modernize how aviation professionals work together.

What is Flying Company?

Flying Company is a platform that helps owner/operators, aircraft management companies, and corporate flight departments find, assess, manage, hire, and pay professional pilots.

Today, we support:

• Day-rate contract pilot staffing, making it easy for operators to find qualified pilots for individual trips
• Pilot quoting and communication tools, so operators can quickly compare options and hire with confidence
• Basic workflows for managing trips, pilots, and payments all in one place

But this is just the beginning...

Our vision is to build the professional services infrastructure for aviation. That means expanding into:

• Full-time pilot hiring, powered by data from previous contract work
• Aircraft management SaaS, especially for single-aircraft operators who don’t have scheduling and compliance tools
• Marketplace features for FAA examiners, flight instructors, mechanics, cabin attendants, and drone pilots
• Fintech tools to help pilots and operators with insurance, payroll, and savings
• Government and defense contracting, enabling Total Force Integration across Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve flying units

Aviation is one of the last industries with a highly skilled and credentialed labor force that does not have an intelligence staffing marketplace surrounding it - and we aim to change that.
